Almost none, and none that follow you.

1. What is actually set

A sign-in session cookie, if you sign in. It is what keeps you signed in from one page to the next, and it goes when you sign out.

A light or dark preference, if you choose one, so the site does not forget between visits.

A note in your browser's session storage that you have already seen the opening animation, so it plays once rather than every time you move around the site. It is cleared when you close the tab.

2. What is not set

No analytics. No advertising or retargeting. No social network pixel. No fingerprinting. Nothing that follows you to another website, and nothing that builds a profile of you.

We do not know how many people read this page, and we have decided we would rather not know than put a tracker in front of a wholesaler at five in the morning.

3. Cookies set by others

Fonts are served from Google Fonts, which sets no cookie for a font request. Video on this site is served from our own domain rather than an embedded player, so no player sets anything either.

If you follow a link off this site, whatever is at the other end has its own rules.

4. Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or clear cookies, and nothing here will break if you do, except that signing in will stop working - which is the cookie doing its job.
